All interested candidates must apply through our online application. This can be found in the Nanny Application tab. A resume or detailed job history description is required. It is very important that the application is filled out completely, providing as much information as possible, to not waste either party’s time. Once received, we will review your eligibility. If our priorities align, we will reach out to schedule an interview.

Process
Once your application is accepted, our recruitment team will be in touch with you throughout the screening process. Upon qualification, if we think you would represent the agency well and be a good fit for the families that work with us, you will complete orientation and begin connecting with families for potential employment opportunities. We will walk alongside you to help with contract negotiations and continue providing support throughout employment.

You will be employed by the family directly for all permanent nanny positions. If you take on any sitter or back-up care positions, it is considered miscellaneous income until $1000 is met in a calendar quarter or $2400 is met in a calendar year. At that time, the family will be responsible for withholding taxes as your legal employer.

The screening process can take anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. This is heavily dependent on how quickly your references get back to us, how long your background check may take to come back, and your overall communication with us. Orientation takes only a couple of days. Once this process is complete you can begin interviewing with families and taking sitter positions.

We will never charge nannies a fee to work with us and we highly encourage nannies not to work with any agency that does. Our fees are paid solely by our clients (the families) and our fees are never deducted from your pay. All we ask is that you pay for your CPR and First Aid Certification as that is required for representation.

All families receive a 30-day replacement guarantee. If you feel that the family is not a good fit, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible so the family can still utilize their replacement period. If the replacement period has passed, we would love to help you try and navigate the issues to hopefully salvage the business relationship but we understand that is not always possible. We would never want you to stay in a position that was compromising your happiness or well-being.
