While we have had nannies placed within one week of a position being listed, on average the placement process can take 4-8 weeks. Hiring someone to care for your children is a big decision and it is important to us that you feel you have ample time to consider and narrow down all of your options.

Once you have hired a nanny, the nanny becomes your legal employee. This means you will be responsible for paying your nanny, withholding the appropriate taxes, and abiding by all other household employer laws and requirements. We strongly encourage families to work with a payroll company to help the process run as smoothly as possible.
